TITLE: SUMMER ACADEMY OF EDUCATION

Education is an important component in the life of people and the development of a country. Thus, the education system is constantly researching for more innovative teaching methods and techniques that improve the quality of the teaching and learning process. To meet the needs of students with different abilities in the classroom, it is important to change the teaching approach. This academy is important because it will give participants a detailed overview of the various elements that influence the development of the education system, more specifically the discussions will focus on different methods and techniques that facilitate learning and acquisition of knowledge in the digital age.

Upon completion participants will be able to:

• demonstrate knowledge on education as a broad field of study including teaching, training and tutoring techniques
• develop intellectual and practical skills in the digital age of education
• discuss about aspects of curriculum
• make connections between educational practice, research and policy, incorporating a closer look at education in Kosovo

Target groups:

Students of the Faculty of Education as well as Primary and Secondary school teachers.
