TITLE: SUSTAINABILITY AND REAL-ESTATE MANAGEMENT

The main objective of the workshop is to enable students at the end of the seminar to gain more information and expertise about the concept of sustainability and real estate management. Also, as in all professional careers, attending training and learning about the latest market trends are essential to professional success. This seminar also aims to help participants stay up to date with the latest industry standards and regulations, as well as help you market yourself competitively as a “knowledgeable” agent.

Upon completion of the workshop, students will be able to:

  • learn about the nuances of the interrelationships between the three dimensions of sustainability: society, the environment and the economy;
  • develop vocabulary and vision to explain how they can build a business culture of sustainability;
  • demonstrate the value of influential investments;
  • plan and implement steps for the development of a sustainable business model in the field of real estate;
  • understand the factors that affect the value of real estate;
  • understand the relationship between sustainability and real estate management;
  • understand the main methods of real estate appraisal;
  • understand the form of evaluation of specialized properties (hotels, private hospitals, etc.)
  • understand the resilient infrastructure;
  • link the concept of smart cities and buildings in the management and development of real estate;
  • learn the types of property rights and their registration in the Land Information System in Kosovo;
  • understand the concept of healthy building development in the period during and after the COVID 19 pandemic;
  • understand the forms of management and maintenance of sustainable and healthy buildings in the period during and after the COVID 19 pandemic;

Students of architecture and construction, economics, management, or graduates of these profiles who want to understand more about the aspects of sustainability in the development and management of real estate but also aspects which add value to real estate can apply.
