TITLE: SUSTAINABILITY IN THE FIELD OF REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT

In this workshop will be lectured the various lectures related to Sustainability in the field of Real Estate Management and Sustainable Urban Design. The topics will be elaborated by professors with the main focus on; Feasibility preparation for real estate investments; Smart Cities- Potential of Prishtina; Registration of construction businesses and construction permits; Factors affecting the value of real estate (Market Perceptions); The real estate apprasial methods – The concept of real estate development. Among these topics will be also elaborated the topic by the well-known professor Dr. David Collins, who teaches at the Faculty of Science and Technology in Norway. His lecture will be focused on the concept; Citizens as Pilot to Smart Cities, Urban Nature and Green Facade. Therefore, the main objective of this workshop is to enable students that by the end of this workshop to gain more information’s and expertise about the concept of sustainability and real estate management. Furthemore, as in all professional careers, the attendance of trainings and learning regarding the latest market trends are essential to professional success. This work shop also aims to help attendees to stay current with the latest industry standards and regulations, as well as help them to market themselves competitively as a “knowledgeable” agent.

 

Upon completion of the workshop, students shall be able to:

  • Learn about the nuances of the interrelationships between the three dimensions of sustainability: society, the environment and the economy;
  • Develop vocabulary and vision to explain how they can build a business culture of sustainability;
  • Demonstrate the value of investments with impact;
  • Plan and implement steps for development of a sustainable business model in the real estate field;
  • Understand the factors that affect the value of real estate;
  • Understand the relationship between sustainability and real estate management;
  • Understand the main methods of real estate appraisal;
  • Understand the form of specialized properties appraisal (hotels, private hospitals, etc.) Understand sustainable infrastructure ;
  • Relate the concept of smart cities and buildings to real estate management and development;
  • Learn the types of property rights and their registration in the Land Information System in Kosovo;
