TITLE: Concept of alchemy and the transformation of material objects into immaterial

Collaborative workshop and exhibition organized by UBT “Art and Digital Media” – “Integrated Design” AMD/DI and Institute of Contemporary Art “Arkiv” in Pejë, and well-known artist Sislej Xhafa with guest artist Paz Perlman.

 

 

The workshop will explore the concept of alchemy and the transformation of material objects into immaterial forms through performance and installation art.

The program will culminate in an exhibition of student work, showcasing their creative journey and innovative outcomes from the UBT Global Fest 2024 summer academy week.

 

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • To present the philosophical and artistic interpretations of alchemy, focusing on the transformation and interaction between the material and the immaterial.
  • To experiment with different media and techniques in performance and installation art.
  • To cooperate in different disciplines and institutions, promoting the exchange of ideas and practices.
  • To present the creative process and final works to the public, increasing the visibility of contemporary art practices

Bachelor’s and Master’s level students in the fields of: Art and Digital Media

Integrated Design, other creative directions and all art lovers.
