About the Summer Academy

The Summer Academy 2025 – IoT for a Greener Tomorrow is a flagship event organized by UBT, in close collaboration with the IoT-ECO Project Consortium, bringing together students, researchers, academic staff, and industry experts to explore the transformative potential of IoT technologies in building a more sustainable and greener future. Throughout this five-day international program, participants will engage in:
  • Lectures and presentations on cutting-edge topics related to IoT and sustainability.
  • Startup & Innovation sessions, showcasing brilliant student projects and entrepreneurial ideas.
  • Workshops dedicated to the development of joint project proposals in the framework of Erasmus+ Mundus and Horizon Europe.
  • Collaborative Hackathon, where mixed teams from different universities will co-create smart solutions.
  • Cultural and networking activities, including musical performances and city tours.
