Allow me to congratulate you on your willingness to be part of the International Summer Academy! In 2001, UBT started work with the aim of developing professional and academic competencies, in line with European and international standards, in order to enhance competitiveness, economic, social development and international integration. The need for a professional leader is a daily requirement. This means that for those who know the profession well, their prospects are open all over the world. We are working every day with the aim of providing students with ‘amazing learning’ in order for them to develop their personal and professional skills. That is why, nine years ago, we decided to take one step further and design the International Summer Academy, so that students have even more opportunities to become highly professionally prepared, committed to work, develop a high degree of creativity and innovation, build partnerships with others, enhance intercultural and interdisciplinary skills and much more. The International Academy has become a tradition now and it takes place every year.

Our vision places the interests and needs of students at the heart of everything we do. Thus, I am delighted to be working alongside with professional academics and staff, to make this happen. We strive to inspire and support students to discover and pursue their passion in learning through maximum choice and authentic learning linked to life. As an International Academy, we welcome and celebrate a diverse learning community. Our curriculum is designed in such a way as to offer an international flavor and ensure participating students become truly ‘international’ in their outlook and attitude.
