TITLE: SUSTAINABILITY IN THE FIELD OF REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT

This summer academy aims to develop skills and general knowledge about real estate management and assessment, focusing on the sustainability of urbanism, i.e. sustainable urbanization in Kosovo.

Upon completion participants are expected to:

• understand the concept of real estate management and the relationship between this concept and the concept of sustainability;
• understand the factors that affect the value of real estate;
• learn and understand what are the main methods of real estate appraisal;
• understand the concept of sustainable infrastructure;
• talk about the registration of types of property rights in the system (SITK), i.e. the Land Information System;
• learn what are the forms of evaluation of specialized properties (gas stations, hotels and private hospitals);
• understand the integration of the concept of smart cities in real estate management
• understand the concept of sustainable buildings and their forms of maintenance;
• learn about forms of negotiation and real estate transactions.

Target groups:

Students who come from the field of economics, architecture and construction, or even graduate students of these profiles, but who want to know more about the aspects of sustainability in the development and management of real estate but also aspects which add value to real estate.
