TITLE: WESTERN BALKANS IN THE CURRENT GEOPOLITICAL SCENARIO: MIGRATION ISSUES BETWEEN SECURITY RELATED AND HUMAN RIGHT APPROACHES
The summer schools of the Faculty of Political Science will consist of 4 sub-branches: political science, security studies, public administration and management, as well as cyber security.
The topics are designed to provide participants, policymakers and practitioners with structured training sessions, covering theoretical and practical elements intended to strengthen their professional capabilities for the formulation or implementation of migration and development policies and initiatives.
Upon completion participants are expected to:
- expand their theoretical and practical knowledge in the areas of: political science, security studies, public administration and management, as well as cyber security.
- show various ways of thinking of how they perceive migration and issues related to that
- explore the existing frameworks for cooperation in the field of migration and development
- familiarize themselves with practices aimed at solving migration issues between security related and human right approaches
Target groups:
Local and foreign students, employees of state administration, NGOs, etc.
