TITLE: SUSTAINABILITY IN THE FIELD OF REAL ESTATE MANAGEMENT

Changing the teaching approach is one of the most important component in meeting the needs and developing students’ skills. Also, for the intellectual development of people and development of our country, the process of education is considered as a crucial element. However, in the educational process are being continuously researched the most innovative teaching methods and techniques that aim to improve the quality in the teaching and learning process. Therefore, the summer academy in the framework of the program of Real Estate Management and Infrastructure aims to develop skills and general knowledges regarding the real estate management and valuation, focusing on the sustainability of urbanism, respectivelly sustainable urbanism in Kosovo.

Upon completion, the participants shall be able to:

• Understand the concept of real estate management and the relationship between this concept and the concept of sustainability;
• Understand the factors that affect the value of real estate;
• Learn and understand what are the main methods of real estate appraisal;
• Understand the concept of sustainable infrastructure;
• Understand the concept of sustainable buildings and forms of buildings maintenance; as well as to learn regarding the forms of negotiation and real estate transactions.

Target groups:

Students of High School of Social Sciences;

Students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering;

Students of the Faculty of Architecture; and

Students of the Faculty of Geodesy.
