TITLE:
REAL ESTATE FORECASTING, MODELLING AND APPRAISAL
Course Objectives:
The main objective of the summer school is to develop comprehensive knowledge on real estate forecasting, modelling and appraisal in Kosovo.
- Understand the fundamental concepts and techniques used in real estate forecasting, modelling, and appraisal.
- Develop the skills necessary to analyze and interpret real estate market data.
- Apply quantitative methods to forecast real estate market trends and property values.
- Gain proficiency in using software tools commonly used in real estate forecasting and appraisal such as Excel, Risk Solver and SPSS
- Critically evaluate real estate investment opportunities based on market analysis and appraisal techniques.
Learning Outcomes: By the end of the course, students will be able to:
- Describe the key principles and theories of real estate forecasting, modelling, and appraisal.
- Collect and analyze relevant data for real estate market analysis.
- Utilize statistical and econometric models to forecast real estate market trends.
- Apply valuation methods to estimate property values and assess investment feasibility.
- Evaluate and interpret the results of real estate market analyses and appraisals.
- Effectively communicate real estate forecasts and appraisal findings to stakeholders.

- Probability theory in real estate modelling and appraisal – Prof. Dr. Visar Hoxha 13:00-13:45
