TITLE:
DIGITAL MEDIA & VISUAL ART
The main objective of the summer school at AMD is to create and exchange new contemporary experiences in the use of digital media in the visual arts, AMD – STUDENT – CREATIVE INDUSTRY.
- This year AMD will organize new events with industry guests in the field of visual art (video production), and experimental art practices related to digital media. The concept and scenario will challenge artists, curators, writers, digital art, filmmakers, animation, AR/VR, to produce works in contemporary form.
Based on our curriculum, AMD is working on critical thinking and studio practices that provide intellectual modules for future generations, elevating artistic communication.
Results after completing the course, participants will be able to:
- After the end of Global Fest 2023, the participants will have new experiences in the field they are interested in, especially in creating professional experiences in the field of art, seeing and practicing contemporary forms of artistic production, creating direct contacts with the industry by showing talent in front of them, creating new opportunities for cooperation.
- Learn something new in the field of video production (pre-production, production, post-production, and exposure) directly from the industry. By attending a workshop, you may find a new talent you didn’t know you had that turns into a long-term hobby or practice of yours. And if it’s something you’ve tried before, this can be a great opportunity to learn a different/new approach or technique while connecting with other like-minded people.
- Learn from a professional. You have someone who is hands-on and can help you along the way. All our workshops are taught by amateur artists and industry professionals who also teach at our institution, and others who are not members. This experience gives unique skills to work with people of different experiences and levels.
- You have something you can take with you. At the end of the summer academy, you will have the opportunity to take the work with you after the exhibition as a life experience, or even as exhibition material in other cultural institutions.
