TITLE: ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION

During the international festival “Global UBT Fest 2024”, the Faculty of Management, Business, and Economics will organize the Academy for Entrepreneurship and Innovation from July 15, 2024, to July 19, 2024. This summer academy is designed to develop students’ skills and knowledge in entrepreneurship and innovation. Both modules will include academic and professional lectures, as well as industry visits to explore and understand the development of innovation within enterprises. In addition, students and attendees will receive highly personalized knowledge to respond to real challenges when creating new enterprises in uncertain and dynamic environments. During this summer school, lectures will also be offered in the form of Micro Business game training.  

The Micro Business Game is a highly interactive module for all participants who want to learn in a practical way how to increase the success and sustainability of new and small enterprises. 

The main purpose of the Small Business game is to demonstrate how to effectively manage a small business, using an experience-based method. Furthermore, through lectures and sections, practical knowledge will be provided to understand, evaluate, create, and finally, to effectively manage the innovation process within an enterprise. 

Therefore, the main goal of this academy is to bring to the students lecturers with significant research experience in entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as proven businessmen in the field of entrepreneurship. 

 

After attending the seminars, participants will: 

  • To know and understand the different typologies of innovation; 
  • To be able to analyze internal and external sources of innovation; 
  • To explain the main challenges during innovation management in enterprises; 
  • Create management strategies to improve the innovation process; 
  • Know the components and operation of a business model; 
  • To understand the process of advancement of micro and small businesses; 
  • To identify the role of marketing in the field of entrepreneurship; 
  • To analyze the impact of AI on Marketing; 
  • To know the meaning of entrepreneurial thinking and acting; 
  • To analyze market dynamics and competition.
