TITLE: Contemporary Innovations in Healthcare and Modern Diagnostics

The Faculty of Medical Sciences at UBT, within the framework of Global UBT Fest 2026, is organizing the International Summer Academy entitled “Contemporary Innovations in Healthcare and Modern Diagnostics”, which will take place from July 7–10, 2026. This academy brings together distinguished professors, clinical experts, healthcare professionals, researchers, and students to explore the latest developments in modern diagnostics, oncology, radiology, nuclear medicine, artificial intelligence in healthcare, and contemporary disease prevention strategies. The program features a series of lectures and professional discussions focusing on advanced diagnostic technologies for the early detection and management of breast cancer, including PET/CT imaging, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and sentinel lymph node techniques. Special attention will also be given to the growing role of artificial intelligence in medical imaging, multidisciplinary approaches to cancer prevention and treatment, palliative care, and the integration of preventive healthcare practices within primary care settings. Through this Summer Academy, UBT aims to promote academic excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the exchange of scientific knowledge between local and international experts. The academy serves as an important platform for connecting education, research, and clinical practice while enhancing the professional competencies of future healthcare practitioners and fostering innovation in modern medicine. Participants will gain valuable insights into current challenges and emerging opportunities in healthcare, contributing to the advancement of evidence based medical practice and improved patient care.
