Introduction / Overview

The primary objective of the Summer School organized by the Faculty of Media and Communication is to foster discussion on contemporary media issues and phenomena in an era of rapid technological advancement. Through lectures delivered by field experts and media professionals, participants will gain insights into the current state of the media landscape, its evolution during previous periods of significant technological change, and, most importantly, the challenges media organizations face today. Particular attention will be devoted to the media’s ongoing effort to maintain its relevance, credibility, and societal role while navigating the increasingly narrow space between public interest and political power.
