TITLE: Summer Academy – Professional Products and Services

Introduction – Overview

The objective of this Summer Academy is to provide knowledge, information and practical experience in the fields of digitalization, agile project management, application of information technology in teaching, use of Artificial Intelligence, and the impact of contemporary technologies on the labor market and the professions of the future.

The program will focus on developing participants’ professional competencies by addressing important topics related to contemporary education, digital transformation, the use of digital tools in the learning process, and the application of modern approaches in project management and professional development.

Within this Summer Academy, a special academic component will also be included in cooperation with:

UBT – University for Business and Technology

This component will address the topic:

“Albanian Culture and Contemporary Technology in Teaching”

This part of the program will discuss aspects related to Albanian culture, media technologies, digital tools and their use in teaching. Participants will become familiar with ways in which contemporary technology and digital media can be used to improve communication, learning content, interaction with pupils and students, and the development of more creative and effective teaching methods.

During the Summer Academy, the future of the labor market and the impact that Artificial Intelligence is having on current and future professions will also be discussed. Particular attention will be given to the new skills required by young people, students, teachers and professionals in an increasingly digital economy.

As part of this program, UBT Start-Up School 2026 will also be presented through the Start-Up Builder program, created for students, young people and everyone who has a business idea and wishes to transform it into a successful project.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon completion of the Summer Academy, participants will be able to:

• Explain the importance of digitalization in education, professional development and contemporary work processes.
• Identify ways of using information technology in teaching and in improving the learning process.
• Use digital tools and media technologies to create, present and distribute educational and professional content.
• Understand the basic principles of Agile Project Management and their application in educational, professional and development projects.
• Analyze the impact of Artificial Intelligence on education, the labor market and the professions of the future.
• Evaluate the opportunities and challenges that AI brings to career development, teaching and innovation.
• Develop initial business or innovative project ideas by using practical approaches for their validation and structuring.
• Build the basic elements of a business model, including the value of the product/service, the target group, resources and the development strategy.
• Understand the concept of the MVP and the importance of creating an initial product or service for market testing.
• Present their ideas or projects in a structured manner before mentors, partners and a professional audience.
• Connect Albanian culture with contemporary technology in teaching by using creative approaches and digital tools.
• Develop collaboration, communication and critical thinking skills through work with mentors, experts and other participants.
