TITLE: Creative Industry in Practice

Time: 06-08 July 2026

Overview

Creative Industry in Practice

The primary objective of Global UBT Fest 2026 – Faculty of Arts and Design is to develop practical and professional knowledge on how creative ideas are conceived, presented, managed, and positioned within contemporary creative industries. Through lectures, discussions, workshops, student presentations, and meetings with professionals from the field, participants will gain insight into the process of developing a creative project from the initial idea to its realization, documentation, and public presentation.

This program aims to establish a direct connection between academic education and professional practice in the fields of art, design, curating, film, music, performance, cultural management, and creative industries. At the center of this edition is the theme Creative Industry in Practice, which approaches the creative process not only as an artistic act, but also as a structure of work, collaboration, communication, organization, presentation, and professional sustainability.

The program will take place at Ulpiana Arts Centre in Prishtina, transforming this space into an active environment for learning, experimentation, dialogue, and public presentation. Participants will engage with the experiences of professionals from various fields, reflect on the development of their creative identity, and present ideas or projects to invited guests and academic staff.
