Sustainable development can not be achieved without transforming the way we build and manage our urban spaces, without ignoring society, environment, culture and economy which are considered to be the four basic elements of sustainable development which should be interrelated. with each other.
The need for new urban planning, creating safe and affordable cities remains among the fundamental challenges.
As the population in all countries of the world is growing, the tendencies of architects and professionals of the field remain; building modern and sustainable cities.
The Summer School is designed to offer a one-week academic program, consisting of several modules, where each module is developed independently, always linked to the purpose of the summer school.
Participants will have the opportunity to work with professors and professionals in various fields. The exchange of knowledge will take place through lectures and workshops organized in small groups, where each group activity will provide a solution to a specific topic which will be addressed during the workshop.

At the end of the academy the participants will be able to:
Students will gain professional skills based on the selected module and will have extensive information about the real case studies that will be addressed during each module which have to do with sustainability in general. An additional positive benefit for participants is socialization.
