TITLE: ECONOMY, FINANCE, BANKING AND INSURANCE
The main goal of this summer academy is to offer participants a wide range of theoretical and practical perspectives on Economics, Finance, Banking, and Insurance. During this summer academy, we will bring topics of special interest, which will support students in their professional and academic preparation. Within this summer academy, they will present local and international professors, with a long experience in the field of education, where most of the lectures offered will be based on preliminary research and analysis. Also within the academy, special attention will be paid to the industry sector, where lectures and sections will be offered which are directly related to the practical aspect. Therefore, the purpose and focus of this summer academy are to bring to the student’s lecturers proved in the scientific aspect, as well as successful experts in the field of Economics, Banking, and Finance, as well as Insurance.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- To analyze macroeconomic indicators and their impact on the economic development of a country;
- To understand the banking system and its impact on economic activity;
- To understand the functioning of markets and international financial institutions;
- To know the concepts, theories, and techniques of financial management;
- To analyze the role of insurance institutions in the economy;
- To understand the importance of digital currencies.
- To know public debt, and its impact on economic growth in transition countries.
Target groups:
Bachelor students who are in their final year of study and Master’s students.
