TITLE: Product Design Engineering

Time: 06 -10 July 2026

Introduction – Overview

The main objective of the Summer School is to introduce participants to 2D and 3D modeling and the application of these techniques in the creation and development of various mechanical assemblies, with a particular focus on drone design. Throughout the program, students will use SolidWorks software to design drone models and assemblies, progressing from basic modeling concepts to simulation and animation, with the aim of developing practical and professional competencies in engineering design.

Main Topics

  • Introduction to 2D & 3D Modeling
  • Design of 2D & 3D Parts
  • Drone Component Design
  • Assembly Creation
  • Structural Simulation
  • Drone Animation
  • Design and Simulation of Mechanisms

Learning Outcomes

  • Use SolidWorks software for creating 2D and 3D models.
  • Design assemblies using developed models.
  • Implement simulations of various assemblies and mechanisms.
  • Create and analyze animations of designed assemblies.

Target Group

This Academy will provide both theoretical and practical knowledge in 2D and 3D modeling for all students (Bachelor’s and Master’s level) studying in the fields of Natural and Technical Sciences, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and other engineering disciplines.
