TITLE: Transformation of Agro-Food Systems through Science and Innovation

The Summer Academy aims to develop the knowledge and skills of students and young professionals in the fields of agriculture, food sciences, and the environment.

Through thematic lectures, open discussions, and practical workshops led by academics, industry experts, and institutional partners, participants will engage in developing modern solutions for more sustainable food production, processing, and consumption.

The program creates a collaborative space where theory and practice are closely connected, enabling the analysis of existing systems and the identification of opportunities for development and innovation within the sector.

 

After completion, participants will be able to:

  • Understand and analyze the latest developments in food technology and agriculture
  • Assess food safety and sustainability aspects across the agro-food value chain
  • Understand the interaction between primary production and food processing
  • Identify key sector challenges and approaches to address them
  • Understand the role of digitalization and new technologies in agriculture and food systems
  • Develop skills in project planning and management within the agro-food sector
  • Strengthen collaboration and networking with experts and relevant institutions
